I am excited for All Things Fall 2016, a favorite cooking class with all new recipes, featuring the best of what this season has to offer. We will prepare a complete meal with a variety of local vegetables and fruits that we’ve waited all summer for.
The cooking and eating together takes place in a comfortable home setting and is designed to equip guests with practical skills, nutritional and product information that encourage the transition away from processed foods and moving towards clean eating and whole food meals. Eating healthy doesn’t mean you feel deprived. My menu’s are designed to show you how delicious healthy food can be.
All Things Fall Saturday, October 1 11 am – 1 pm $40.00 per person
What’s on the menu? We will cozy up to Roasted Vegetable and Chicken Noodle Soup, featuring easy spiraled potato noodles making the soup both gluten and grain free. The Paderno Spiralizer, (my new favorite kitchen tool) which eases the task of chopping, and turns the ordinary into novelty, will also have its place in the Pear Walnut Muffins we make, a perfect side for dinner, breakfast or after school snack. Easy and festive, a Broccoli Pomegranate Salad will round out our meal, which is a healthy version of its popular counterpart. Fall isn’t the same without homemade apple pie, so I will show you how to make simple and amazing Mini Apple Pie’s that you’d never guess are sugar free, and grain free, served with Coconut Whipped Cream is for dessert.
