Brand new – a Sides and Sauces Spring Cooking Class! More people want to get more veggies on their plate and they want to know HOW.  It’s been said again and again; eat your vegetables.  Learning how to prepare a variety of veggies with 4 easy sauces that compliment them, is what this class is all about.

The cooking and eating together takes place in a comfortable home setting and is designed to equip guests with practical skills, nutritional and product information that encourage the transition away from processed foods and moving towards whole food meals using more fresh vegetables.

We will be preparing and eating Sesame Citrus Spring Greens. that will help you get more nutrient rich greens in your diet; Spicy Red Cabbage Slaw, which is a delicious “asian” inspired pressed salad; and Roasted Sweet Potato Fries with Homemade Tartar Sauce will be a favorite at your summer BBQ’s.  I will demo and you will taste a batch of Lacto-Fermented Pickles that are so easy – anyone can do it.  A veggie tray with 2 simple homemade sauces and a pot of rice will round out our feast.

All classes take place in our north – side Spokane home.
Recipes, beverages and lunch included.
