Since Better Breakfasts #1 was such a hit, here is a follow-up with new recipes, all gluten and dairy free! It’s my desire that this cooking class will help people feel more at ease creating healthy breakfasts and brunches from scratch, using whole grains and fresh ingredients.   In a comfortable home setting, this class is designed to equip guests with practical skills, nutritional and product information that encourage the transition away from processed foods and moving towards whole food meals.

Just in time for Easter, Mother’s Day, or just about any day…here is Better Breakfast #2 ….

Better Breakfasts #2     Saturday, March 24   11 am – 1pm      $30.00                  Rise and shine to the most important meal of the day!  We will make some healthy and delicious starts for your day that are high in protein and whole grains but low in sugar and harmful fats. This class is designed for mornings you’re eating on the fly, and for mornings you get to lounge.   The menu includes; Smoothies, Crock Pot Breakfast Porridge with a Sweet N Crunchy Topping,  Overnight Whole Grain Pancakes, Salmon and Arugula Hash with Breakfast Potatoes and a southern brunch favorite, Sweet Potato Spoon Bread.
*Allrecipesare gluten, dairy and refined sugar free.

The truth of it is that healthy cooking techniques need to satisfy only THREE basic and simple requirements the food you eat should not have excessive amount of fat and sea salt i.e. should not be high in calories, it should retain its nutrients i.e. it should not be empty calories and most importantly, it should taste good.
